A fun, interactive session for the young and young at heart.
Using a mixture of props, games and activities Alex and Angela will show how best to discover and learn about the fantastic range of mammals that can be found in the UK.
Suitable for ages 5-15 years.
Alex White – Alex is a 16 year old naturalist, photographer and author.
He has been blogging about and photographing his local wildlife since the age of 10. He is passionate about British wildlife and actively promotes his belief that a lifetime of caring for the environment can start close to home. His debut book ‘Get Your Boots On’ shows people how easy it is to find amazing wildlife on their doorstep. Alex is a youth ambassador for the nature app Pocket Pals.

Angela Mills – the author and creator of children’s book ‘Bobby the Brown Long-eared Bat’ currently lives in Oxfordshire.
As a child growing up in Dorset, she discovered she had a great love of nature, which continues to this day. After leaving a career in banking to study Biology at the University of Southampton, she now works in the environmental sector, working freelance as a licensed bat ecologist and volunteers for her local wildlife groups, educating children about bats, raising awareness and funds for the Bat Conservation Trust.
