People have been contributing their wildlife observations from across the UK for centuries.
Simple biological records (what, where and when a species was seen) can be made by anyone, anywhere. Technological developments such as smart phone apps are increasing the number of people participating in such citizen science initiatives.
The information accruing from them is enabling us to track changes in wildlife over time and address exciting ecological questions.
This talk will focus on ladybirds as a case study.
This will be followed by the opportunity to purchase and have signed Peter’s publications.
