Friday night is once again Question Time night at Birdfair!

Pose your questions to our exciting panel of naturalists, conservationists, film makers and campaigners:

  • Chris Packham – Broadcaster and naturalist
  • Tony Juniper – Chair Natural England
  • Isabella Tree – Nature writer and rewilding advocate
  • Philip Lymbery – CEO Compassion World Farming
  • Hannah Stitfall – Zoologist & wildlife film maker
  • Carrie Symonds – Ocean conservationist
  • Deborah Meaden  – Business woman & investor and panel member on BBC Dragons Den

If you have a question you would like to put to the panel please email smarsh@birdfair.org.uk in advance of the event.  If your question is selected you can join the audience to ask your question directly to our  chairman for the evening Dominic Dyer (CEO Badger Trust & British Wildlife Advocate Born Free Foundation).

This will take place on Friday 16th August in the main Events marquee starting at 7.30pm to 10.00 pm.
Tickets cost £15.00, all proceeds will go towards this year’s Cambodia project.

7:30 pm - 10:00 pm Saving Land, Saving Species - The First 30 Years of World Land Trust

Join us for an evening to celebrate the first 30 years of World Land Trust!

The celebrations will include:

  • An exclusive film premier: Three decades of conservation in Sir David Attenborough’s own words.
  • Plus: Nick Baker and Bill Oddie champion two of their favourite wild places.
  • Simon Barnes delves into our latest project to save Kenya’s threatened coastal forest – home of the endangered Clarke’s Weaver.
  • Adela Espinosa and Gloria Waswa tell us about the projects they are working with in Ecuador and Kenya.

We will also hear from Simon Watt – founder of the Ugly Animal Preservation Society and keen supporter of World Land Trust, about the small things that matter.

The evening will end with traditional African drumming music performed by African Activities, and a little music to dance, to should you feel like it!.
