At Birdfair 2019 we have a whole different approach to food and drink to previous years. Small,  independent and, where possible, local suppliers will be providing refreshments and we believe you will enjoy what they have on offer! 

Main Food Area –  The Feeding Station

We are excited to tell you all about our new main food area at Birdfair which will have a totally new range available this year.

Hot Rocks Pizzas – Hand made artisan pizza cooked in a wood fired oven.Each pizza is hand made in front of your eyes and takes about 90 seconds to cook.

Made Without Gluten – Fish and chips for everyone!

Strictly gluten free fish and chips, sausage and chips, and all the trimmings.  But you would never know they were gluten free!

Nicky’s Little Kitchen – Crepes

Serving you delicious homemade French crepes, with a variety of both sweet and savoury fillings.  

We have something for everyone –  from the little ones to the big ones!  Why not try something new or just enjoy a classic lemon & sugar.

Goats milk Ice cream!  No Preservatives, no artificial Colours, no artificial flavours, half the calories and hlf the fat compared to traditional ice cream, easier to digest and no cows in sight! (the only exception is salted caramel which has 10% cows milk who knew you can’t make salted caramel with straight goats milk?)

Our basic flavour range includes our ultra popular ginger, but no ice cream stockist would be without Vanilla, Chocolate, or even Raspberry Ripple and Strawberry both of which we use local fruit preserved fresh and in season where possible. We also do a Salted Caramel, a very popular one and the only one that contains some cows dairy. Then there is our award winning hedgerow favourites, Gooseberry and Elderflower, and Apple with a blackberry ripple, the latter which keeps us very busy late in the summer. Other seasonal guest flavours have included Fresh Mint and Chocolate, Rhubarb and Honey, Blueberry, Blackcurrent Ripple, and not forgetting the very festive Spiced Plum.

Cafe Allez 

We specialise in providing high quality coffee, tea, cakes, and grilled cheese sandwiches. We favour local suppliers, so our coffee is roasted for us by 200 Degrees in Nottingham and we exclusively choose cheeses from the Long Clawson Dairy. We grind and brew our coffee on board with our Fracino espresso machine.
