There are two free bus services provided during Birdfair:

  • a shuttle service running between Oakham Railway Station and Birdfair,
  • a service running between Uppingham village centre and Birdfair, morning and evening only.

Please note that it takes approximately 15 minutes for the journey to the station.  However, the Birdfair site does get very busy and surrounding roads very congested.  If you have a train to catch at Oakham station, you should ensure that you leave the Birdfair in good time to allow for possible delays.

The Oakham bus leaves from the car park at the station and from a clearly signposted location at the Birdfair.

The Uppingham bus leaves from the main bus stop, North Street East in Uppingham and from a clearly signposted location at the Birdfair.
