The first part will be a resume of nearly ten years of living in Colombia and watching its development from notorious no go zone to flourishing tourism and birdwatching destination.
The second part will discuss birdwatching and Ecotourism as a tool for peace in a post conflict Colombia following the recent landmark peace deal that ended the countries 53 year long civil conflict.
Special emphasis will be made on the recent opening up of many previously inaccessible areas in the country and some of the new exciting avian discoveries that have been made in just the last couple of years.
Followed by a book signing on the WILD Sounds & Books stand M3/48 -53
