Islands are hotspots of biodiversity, and the Balearic Islands is no exception. Even being in the main migration route of the western Mediterranean, the Balearic Islands harbour a few very interesting endemic birds found nowhere else on Earth.

The Balearic warbler and shearwater are the must-see species for any birder visiting the islands. But did you know that we have also some other interesting endemic subspecies, some of them still waiting to be discovered.
