Australia’s most well known Grass-finch is the Gouldian Finch, It lives in the savanna’s of northern Australia among the stony hills and woodlands.

The aboriginal lands of Jawoyn Country is located in the centre of the finches range and has links to dreamtime stories.

This presentation gives an overview of their life cycle and habits as well as providing an insight into past studies and recent observations.
