I”ll take you on a journey through the surprisingly varied habitats of Namibia.

I’ll start at the coastal sand and gravel deserts, before commencing to the spectacular mountains of the Namib Escarpment northwards to the bizarrely rugged Zebra Mountains where a healthy population of Angola Cave Chats were discovered within Namibia (losing Angola an endemic), to Etosha National Park and eventually to the fine woodlands and wetlands of the Caprivi Strip – including a brief foray into the Okavango Delta just across the border in Botswana.

Over 400 bird species and 40 mammal species can be seen on a 2.5 week transect encompassing these parts.
