From Varanger in Arctic Norway to UK, Biotope is connecting people and nature through architecture.
Varanger in Arctic Norway is a world famous birding destination. This is the story of how Biotope helped build the Varanger communities as a birding destination. As an architect and birder Tormod Amundsen founded the company Biotope with the aim of connecting people and nature through architecture. Today Biotope have projects in 10 countries world wide, and in 2019 a new Biotope UK office just opened.
Tormod will tell a story of how starting in the coldest and most remote destination can become a starting point for a an international adventure in nature conservation.
